CAS AURUM
Cancellation and refund rules for custom design, fabrication, materials, and nonrecoverable charges.
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Custom design and custom fabrication work is prepared specifically for the client. Cancellation and refund rights depend on the signed proposal, invoice, project agreement, work already completed, and nonrecoverable costs.
Custom orders are non-refundable once CasAurum LLC has purchased, ordered, reserved, cut, fabricated, customized, or otherwise committed materials for the work or fulfillment of the order.
Design concept fees, consultation fees, planning fees, technical review fees, rush fees, measurement coordination fees, and other service fees are generally non-refundable once work has started, research has been performed, a review has been scheduled, or a deliverable has been prepared.
Deposits and retainers may be applied to reserved time, supplier commitments, administrative setup, design work, procurement readiness, project management, and other costs. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, deposits and retainers are not automatically refundable.
Materials include physical materials, finishes, hardware, custom components, special-order products, supplier deposits, fabrication inputs, and other project-specific items.
Work already performed is non-refundable. Completed design deliverables are non-refundable.
Third-party charges, processing charges, supplier deposits, shipping expenses, measurement costs, and other nonrecoverable expenses are non-refundable.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Before materials are purchased or committed, any possible cancellation, credit, or refund is determined according to the signed proposal, invoice, project agreement, work already completed, and nonrecoverable costs. A refund is not promised or automatic.
Approved refunds, if any, are issued only according to the applicable written agreement and original payment method where reasonably possible.
If you believe a payment error occurred, contact us promptly so we can review it. Chargebacks or payment disputes do not cancel obligations for work performed, custom materials, approved charges, nonrecoverable costs, or amounts owed under a written agreement.
If a client does not respond, provide required information, approve deliverables, make payment, or schedule required steps within a reasonable time, the project may be paused, repriced, rescheduled, or treated as abandoned as allowed by the applicable agreement and law.
Custom products and special-order materials cannot generally be returned unless the supplier accepts the return and CasAurum LLC approves it in writing.
This policy does not remove any non-waivable rights that may exist under applicable law.
